4000 AMP AC; 5000 AMP Single-Phase Unit
The AD-945 is one of the most flexible, cost effective systems available for magnetic particle inspection. Because it offers both alternating current (AC) and full wave DC (FWDC) single-phase power supplies, parts may be inspected for both surface and near-surface defects.

6000 AMP FWDC/HWDC; 5000 AMP AC Multi-Directional Unit
The MD-2060 multi-directional magnetic particle inspection unit features the capability of magnetizing with 6,000 amps full wave DC (FWDC) and half wave DC (HWDC), or 5,000 amps alternating current (AC) in any combination. This unit is best suited for surface and near-surface defect detection of small to large parts.

The MD3-2060 is our most versatile, powerful standard multi-directional unit. It offers time-saving multi-directional magnetizing for detecting defects in all directions with one cycle, or conventional two-cycle operation. It provides alternating current (AC), full wave DC (FWDC), and half wave DC (HWDC) magnetization for surface or near-surface flaws. It provides enough amperage for a wide range of part sizes.
P-Series
Portable Power Packs
Full featured portable units that are ideal
for job site weld inspections or remote testing of in-service mobile
equipment. Compact, rugged, portable power packs engineered by
Magnaflux for convenient, economical performance in a wide variety of
magnetic particle inspection applications. Choice of two models - 750
Amp or 1500 Amp. AC and HWDC output. Infinitely variable current
control. Eitherend terminals for quick changeover. Built-in
demagnetization feature.
Find surface defects with AC current; switch cable
connection to halfwave DC (HWDC) for near-surface flaws. Locate defects
in any direction using prods, central conductor, or coil (wrap part with
3-5 turns of cable). Demagnetize part in AC mode by slowly turning the
current dial to zero.
