Custom radiation enclosures from NSI can be scaled to fit any application. Small enclosures are fabricated as a one-piece unit and larger enclosures are built from easy to handle modular panels. Unparalleled fit and finish is a common feature in both construction methods.

Solid Construction

All NSI enclosures have a steel/lead/steel-constructed wall. Encapsulating the lead shielding eliminates potentially hazardous lead exposure to the users and minimizes the chance of damage to the delicate shielding.

Safety

Federal regulation CFR XXXX mandates the minimum requirements for radiation enclosures, however, NSI strives to exceed these regulations whenever possible.

Primary and secondary interlocks on all access doors makes certain that x-rays cannot be produced unless the cabinet is secured.
In addition to radiation safety concerns, NSI focuses on the ergonomic aspects of the cabinets as well. Pneumatic doors and ample working room promote operator comfort.
