P-scan System 4 Family

Since 1977 FORCE Technology has continously updated and improved the P-scan system to meet new customer demands for automated inspection tasks. P-scan System 4 represents the 4'th generation of P-scan systems

P-scan System 4 provides the newest technology available for ultrasonic and eddy current inspection systems today, giving the possibility to accomplish the most demanding NDT jobs in industry.

P-scan System 4 is designed with special attention to:

  • Fast set-up time Very few system components and cables and a well organized user interface give very fast inspection set-up times.
  • Small equipment size The components of the system are light-weight and small in size, making transportation and limited working space no problem.
  • Ease-of-use With all functions only a mouse click or a key press away and with functions providing overview, learning how to use the system is easy.
  • Flexibility The system adapts to different scanning situations and covers all major ultrasonic and eddy current inspection techniques.

The core of P-scan System 4 is the remotely controlled PSP-4 data acquisition and prosessing unit PSP-4 includies a complete ultrasonic and optional eddy current system and scanners interface. PSP-4 is controlled from a PC with the PS-4 software over a high-speed link connected through a cable of practically any desired length.

P-Scan 4 Lite NDT Product

With PSP-4L as the main unit, P-scan 4 Lite is a fully battery operated and portable system in the P-scan 4 family. PSP-4L shares the functions of PSP-4 and contains the ultrasound system, digitizing and processing functions, and scanner control.
